Versatile aluminium badminton posts designed for schools, sports halls, clubs and training facilities. The system can be used either as a fixed installation with ground sockets or as a portable solution with freestanding bases.
For fixed installation, the posts are used together with plugs and ground sockets. The ground sockets are 200 mm deep and are available as an optional accessory.
For a portable setup, the posts are combined with freestanding bases. In this configuration, neither plugs nor ground sockets are required. Any plugs fitted to the posts must be removed before the posts are used with freestanding bases.
When used with freestanding bases, the posts can also be anchored to a wall using ropes. Two attachment loops for this purpose are fitted to the posts upon delivery. Additional weights can also be purchased if greater stability is required.
The system is flexible and can easily be reconfigured at a later stage. This means you can start with a fixed installation and later add freestanding bases, or do the opposite. If required, the posts can also be switched between the two configurations depending on the application.
The system can also be fitted with an optional Kids Volley adapter, allowing the same posts to be used for introductory volleyball. Dedicated mini tennis posts are also available to purchase separately as an alternative.
